During 8-14 of July several of our pupils passed their silver and gold qualifying expeditions in Snowdonia for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Despite a bit of rain, morale stayed high! We're proud of the Courage and Curiosity our pupils displayed this trip, and hope that they will proudly reflect on this trip for years to come.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is part of Alleyn's co-curricular offering and is a popular choice amongst pupils. The award is made of different sections, each of which must be completed to obtain the award: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition, Residential (Gold Award Only). The award allows for pupils to have fun whilst building their confidence and resilience.
