We are able to grant reasonable adjustments for those with disabilities, medical conditions or learning needs that may affect them during the assessment. For example, assistance can be given with reading and writing.
For some courses, the assessment includes a demonstration of practical competence and it may not be possible to grant a reasonable adjustment. All participants must be able to get to the floor unaided, and successfully demonstrate all required elements of the practical assessment on your own. This reflects a real-life situation.
Those who have a temporary injury affecting their ability may be able to defer their assessment to a later date.
First Aid courses cover a range of real-life scenarios, some of which may be challenging for personal reasons. If there’s anything you’d like us to be aware of, please don’t hesitate to reach out using the contact details provided.
