Every day at Alleyn’s Holiday Camp is packed full to the brim with fun, action, and adventure.
We welcome children who are between Year 1 and Year 6 from any school, not just those attending school at Alleyn’s. Please note we are unable to take children attending school in Reception.
Our camps are led by experienced staff who know how to maximise fun within a safe environment. With an emphasis on participation, we help children acquire new skills and confidence whilst making new friends. Our friendly team ensures that every day is bursting with variety and enjoyment. Days are planned carefully so there is plenty for every child to choose from.
Activities on offer may include football, gymnastics, dodgeball, kwik kricket, table tennis, benchball, rounders, basketball, tennis, netball, capture the flag, hockey, parachute games, the adventure playground and plenty more. Throughout the day children are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas on games they would like to play. Our physical activities get little hearts pumping.
We also have opportunity for children to indulge in their creative side with a daily arts and crafts session in one of our Art Classrooms. Our specialist teachers promote a welcoming environment allowing children to explore their inner artist.
During breaks children play board games together, play with LEGO, draw and colour, or they might read a book if they prefer some quiet time.
Unique to our camp, we provide every child with a structured swimming session each day. These sessions are delivered by our in-house team of ASA and Swim England qualified swimming teachers in our state-of-the-art pool.
Children who are unable to swim, who are learning to swim or who are unsure around water will work in small groups with their own dedicated swimming teacher to improve their abilities and increase their confidence.
For able and confident swimmers there will be plenty of time for water-based fun such as water polo, splash sessions, pool games and diving practice.
Our camps run throughout the year during Alleyn's School holidays (including half-terms, Easter and summer holidays).

We manage all our bookings through Kids Club HQ.
Before you can book you'll need to create a Kids Club HQ account.
Once you've created your account, added your children and your emergency contact details you'll be able to make a booking.
Unfortunately we are not able to take payment via childcare vouchers. We are only able to accept online payments through our booking system.
It is advisable to book in advance to guarantee your place.
Please call the Camp Manager on 07823 539 257 if you would like to check availability on the day of a camp prior to arriving at Alleyn's. Please note this phone line is only monitored on Camp days from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
Provided we are not fully booked we will accept bookings on the day, although payment must be made via the online booking system.
Please note we are not able to accept payment at the registration desk.
Each child will need to bring a packed lunch and snacks for the day, as well as a refillable drinks bottle. Please download our parent information which includes further details of the camp including what your child should bring.
Registration and collection of children will take place in the Lower School. This includes early drop off and late collection when booking an extended day.
A map of the Alleyn's School site is provided in our parent information. Please arrive via the Senior School Main Entrance on Townley Road. The Lower School is building number 5 and is located near to the junction of East Dulwich Grove and Townley Road. You are welcome to speak with our Commissionaire and Security Team located at the front of School in Townley Lodge if you need further directions.
Providers of multi-sport activity camps do not have to register with Ofsted if they care for children aged five and over (we will have no children under the age of five) and offer no more than two types of activity from a prescribed list (we offer Sport and Arts & Crafts).
Please be assured that all our staff have been fully DBS checked by the School and vetted to ensure that they hold suitable qualifications before starting work for us.
Our policies, procedures and insurance provision meet all necessary requirements and the welfare of the children in our care will always take priority.
Unfortunately we're unable to care for a child in the summer holiday who has just completed Reception. We are only able to care for children who have started Year 1.
Children are considered to be part of the Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS) from birth up to and including the 31 August following their fifth birthday. To care for EYFS children, the caring body must join the EYFS register, which Alleyn's Holiday Camps is not a part of.
Children at Alleyn’s Holiday Camp are usually split into three groups, depending on their age. This ensures that everyone can get the most out of their activities. Within these groups the children are free to choose the activity they like from those on offer in that particular session.
Children who are in the same year at school are usually in the same group and are able to stay with each other throughout the day.
If the children are of different ages please speak to the camp manager at drop off. We usually find that children will make plenty of new friends throughout their time at camp.
