Alleyn's School Launches All Studios: A Hub for Innovation and Creativity

The opening of All Studios marks a significant milestone for us here at Alleyn's as we unveiled, a cutting-edge facility designed to reshape how students approach learning, technology, and creativity. The launch is a key moment in Alleyn’s Future of Learning initiative, ensuring that the School is well positioned to embrace the digital transformation in education and blend it with traditional pedagogy. 

Formally the Sidney Batrick (Brading’s 1947) Fives Courts, now reimagined, with thanks to our generous supporters. The space is designed to foster a multidisciplinary approach, integrating technology and creativity to support diverse areas of learning. Pupils from Alleyn's Senior and Junior Schools, as well as our 35 partner schools will have access to four purpose-designed studios, each tailored to specific areas of innovation and learning. 

The launch of All Studios coincides with the introduction of the Alleyn’s Intelligence Quotient (AiQ) curriculum— courses that look at ways of thinking that are relevant today and ways of thinking students will need for tomorrow.  The world is changing rapidly, and our children will need strong human skills as well as the ethical frameworks to use the amazing tech at their disposal for collective good. By integrating AiQ with the dynamic resources in All Studios, we aim to create an educational environment where students are empowered to explore, innovate, and collaborate. The integration of the AiQ curriculum began with Year 12 students and reception pupils in September 2024, with plans to expand to all year groups by 2026. 

“The aim for this space is that it helps us to seamlessly integrate tech across all aspects of school life, ensuring it enhances and complements the high-quality teaching and learning for which the school is known” said Mrs Lunnon at last evening's opening. 

Alleyn’s is a place where pupils excel academically and personally, with All Studios, we are expanding what is possible, offering our pupils, and those in our wider community, the opportunity to push the boundaries of their learning and creativity.
