Over half term, Rosa S (Year 7) and Matilda M (Year 12) travelled to Holme Pierrepont Hall in Nottingham to compete in the National Finals of the Cranmer Awards.
Having won their regional heat, they faced strong competition from pupils across the country. In the final, each competitor was required to recite from memory a four-minute passage from the Book of Common Prayer - a challenge demanding both precision and expressive delivery.
Both Rosa and Matilda performed superbly, speaking with fluency, confidence, and an impressive ability to convey the meaning of the text. Their skill and dedication were evident, making for an outstanding showing at this prestigious event.
Congratulations to them both on their fantastic achievement!
