The Alleyn’s International Model United Nations (AIMUN)weekend was a huge success. Beginning with a wonderful opening ceremony and an inspiring opening speech by Steve Crawshaw and impressive student- created trailer. Agathe from France and Chloe from the UK delivered captivating speeches, while Dr Durno's insightful talk on our founder sparked curiosity among staff.

The evening was further enlivened by a jazz performance from three Year 12 students, Louis M, Jaden T, and Ugo D C, as students enjoyed canapés, non-alcoholic bubbles, and a beautifully presented meal courtesy of the events team.

The Student Chairs did a brilliant job organizing committees, with students engaging in activities such as volleyball, music on the quad, poker, and socializing in the Sixth Form Centre. The disco was a major highlight, with students dancing and enjoying themselves. A Basque performance added a unique cultural touch to the evening.

The weekend ended with well-run committees and heartfelt farewells as Alleyn's students said goodbye to their French counterparts, having forged new friendships. The event wrapped up with an exciting General Assembly crisis, prize-giving, and heartfelt goodbyes.

Special thanks to Sofia A (Year 12) for exceptional organization and reliability, as well as to everyone else involved their hard work in making the weekend unforgettable.
