By the third round, they had advanced to the top four, securing a spot in the knockout stage - an unexpected achievement, as they had initially packed up, thinking their day was over! In the knockout round, their seamless communication and refined robot design led them to victory, earning them a place in the finals.
The final match was intense, with the top-scoring team from earlier rounds as their opponent. After a thrilling tie, the team narrowly finished in second place in a rematch against a St Paul’s Year 10 team. From last place to second, their incredible performance was a testament to their teamwork, perseverance, and determination.
