Water Polo

Another exciting and successful week in water polo!

Monday saw our U13 girls team qualify for their National Championship Finals, to be held on May. They won all four games comfortably in the tournament hosted here at Alleyn’s.

On Tuesday, the U15 girls had their national championship finals up in Northampton, making it through to the national semi final, but narrowly missing out on the bronze medal. They’ve done superbly to be placed fourth best team in the country!

Today is the U18 boys National Championship Final being held at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School. Alleyn’s will be coming together with the other 5 best teams in the country to compete for the national title. At the point of writing, the boys are incredibly excited to showcase 7 years of hard work to get here, and really hope to replicate their previous success as U13’s! Watch this space!

U15 Girl's Cricket

The U15 girls' cricket team had a brilliant day out at the Kent Eights Indoor Cricket Tournament. The event was held at the prestigious Kent County cricket ground and in their indoor training facilities.

With the 4 top teams having qualified for the finals, all of the games would be closely contested.

The team finished with a well earned 3rd place and have certainly kicked off their cricket season very positively.

1ST XI Hockey

The boys 1st XI had a gritty win over Merchant Taylor school on Tuesday after a hefty busy journey to Watford.

The team got out the blocks quickly but a determined opposition didn’t make things comfortable or easy. This is to be expected with the prize of National Plate Finals Day on offer for the winner. Alleyn’s came out on top with a 2-1 win and will be heading to Nottingham next Tuesday.
