It was back to tradition today as pupils flocked to Christ's Chapel in Dulwich Village for our annual end-of-term service – the first since 2019.
This traditional service in memorial to our Founder, the famous Elizabethan actor, Edward Alleyn was marked by our School Captain, Nana-Yaw laying a wreath of cornflowers on his grave.
Spread across two sittings with our Year 9, 10 and 12 attending the first service, followed by Lower School later in the day, pupils were treated to choral performances from all age groups and the service was ended with a rousing rendition of the hymn Jerusalem.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
