This week our Alleyn's Fenner Library has been marking Refuge Week with book displays and a new fundraising reading challenge. To support the school’s fundraising efforts for Ukraine, the library team is inviting pupils and their families to take part in a summer reading challenge. Anyone can take part, whether you’re a voracious reader or like to take things slow and steady.

Firstly, you have to decide how you are going to ask friends and family to sponsor you. That could be:

- By number of books read

- By number of pages read

- By number of challenges completed

Make sure to keep a note of who has agreed to sponsor you and how much they will sponsor you for, so that you can update them on your progress when the time comes to make a donation at the end of the summer. Donations should be made on the Alleyn's School Ukraine Appeal JustGiving page.

There are also eight library challenges to take part in, from reading a book about a refugee, to sending us a photo of yourself reading in a fun or unusual location. You can view the challenges and more details on the library hub page.
