On Sunday 14th November, Chamber Choir travelled to the prestigious concert venue of St John's, Smith's Square to perform at the annual fundraising concert for The Children's Trust. This is always a special event with schools from around London bringing choirs to sing. Chamber Choir is made up of 39 children from Years 5 and 6 and they performed two very topical songs about the importance of saving the environment, the first by Douglas Coombes and the second by our own Mr Kent. The children sang and rapped their way through with enormous energy and skill and many commented on how impressed they were with their offering. Throughout the day the children were delightful company and enjoyed hearing what the other schools had prepared. The Children's Trust is a wonderful charity which supports children who have suffered traumatic brain injuries and we were very pleased to be able to support them in this way.
