We were delighted to host the 124th Annual Dinner of the Edward Alleyn Club at the School on Saturday 13 November. Dressed in their finest, guests gathered in the atrium of the Edward Alleyn Building for a drinks reception, followed by a delicious dinner prepared by the wonderful Alleyn's catering team. MC for the evening, David Hankin (Spurgeon's 1978) expertly guided the evening's proceedings which included an entertaining address from the outgoing President, Mrs Lizzy Frost (Dutton’s 2006) with an emphasis on social enterprise, response by the Head, Jane Lunnon with an engaging introduction and fulsome update of the School, and a thought-provoking and erudite contribution on history and its relevant perspectives by guest speaker, Ted Rosner (Spurgeon’s 2006).

The traditional handover of the Presidency took place and Mr Peter Yetzes (Tulley’s1967) was welcomed as the Edward Alleyn Club President of 2021/22.

EAC Treasurer, Chris Heybeard (Dutton's 1971) was delighted to announce that over £900 was raised on the night for the Alleyn Benevolent Fund (ABF), the proceeds of which go towards funding bursaries at the School.

It was a truly lovely evening, with a convivial mix of alumni, including those who left in 1947 right through to those who left in 2016. A selection of photos from the event are available below.
