Over the summer, we welcomed Frank Keenan who joined the Senior Management Team as Director of Development and Alumni Relations. Over the past five years, Mr Keenan helped to establish the Development and Alumni Office and the fundraising efforts of Hampton School.

“I am hugely excited to have joined the Alleyn’s community and have been impressed by how active and engaged Alleyn’s alumni are and how generous their support for the school is. Equally impressive is the impact that alumni are having in the world and the positive way they are shaping their communities. Good people make good places and I’m looking forward to enhancing the links between Alleyn’s and its alumni”, said Mr Keenan.

Head Mrs Lunnon is looking forward to the creativity and energy that Mr Keenan brings to the role. “His experience as a Director of Development and Alumni Relations is already extensive and we are delighted to have him heading up our Development Office and working closely with the Edward Alleyn Club and with all our alumni, to foster and enhance the experience of the wider Alleyn’s community”, she said.

Prior to his time at Hampton School, Mr Keenan spent six years working in higher education in the U.S. where he completed his MBA and played American Football in college as a kicker!

Mr Keenan read Geography at Durham University and was Club Captain of the University Rugby Team. His rugby playing days may be over, but he still has a strong passion for sport…running, swimming and cycling as much as possible.
