Congratulations to our pupils for their thrilling and magical Lower School play The Witches! Based on Roald Dahl's best selling fantasy book, this version of the production was adapted by David Wood. Set in the 1930s, this reimagining of Dahl's tale takes audiences on a thrilling and touching adventure.
Performing in the MCT for the Alleyn's Community (fellow pupils, parents, families and staff) as well as visiting pupils from local schools from 14 - 16 June 2023. Behind the scenes, our Year 7 pupils have been busy for months on stage and behind the scenes, rehearsing and producing a magical performance! We are so proud of their confidence, unity and creative spirit! The applause was well-deserved!
Deputy Director of Drama at Alleyn’s, Victoria Arter-Furlong shared her sentiments,
It has been my utmost privilege to work with this remarkably talented cast and creative team of young people. It is somewhat ironic that in bringing this tragedy to the stage, rehearsals have been so full of laughter and fun. Their energy, enthusiasm and creativity has made this a truly joyful experience. I hope you enjoy the show!

Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
