Fola Evans-Akingbola (Tulley’s 2012) in The Night Agent

The American action thriller series, based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk, premiered on Netflix on 23 March and quickly solidified its spot at No. 5 on Netflix’s list of most popular English-language series of all time with a final total on 626 million hours viewed in its first 28 days.

The series follows Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) after he answers a phone call during his shift working the Night Action desk and finds himself sucked into a conspiracy with ties to the White House. Fola, who has starred in Ten Percent, Black Mirror and Game of Thrones, among other shows, was named one of The Guardian’s new TV stars to watch in 2022. She stars as the head of Maddie Redfield’s Secret Service detail, Chelsea Arrington in this most recent series.
