"The vision of Edward Alleyn was central to my decision to joining Alleyn’s: Improving the lives of young people. I am delighted to continue my vocation in a community where respect, ambition, courage and kindness are championed, so that every student has the chance to be all they can be. My vision for Sport at Alleyn’s is underpinned by my belief that School sport should be inclusive, inspire and make a positive difference to the lives of all. Students are more than the sum of their talents, and whilst the pursuit of excellence is important our sporting programmes must also be a vehicle for personal and social development . All student experiences of sport should be fun, wide-ranging and provide life changing opportunities, in which students and staff aspire to achieve beyond their expectations. I am very much looking forward to the journey ahead." Ryan Shedwick, Director of Sport
