On the 14 April 2023, it will be the 10-year anniversary of the passing of Sam Harper-Brighouse (Tulley's 2008), who sadly lost his life whilst running the Brighton Marathon. A group of his friends from Alleyn’s are hosting a night in Brixton to dance, drink and have some fun in his honour.

In 2014, a group of Sam’s friends ran a music festival called Sharper Sounds to raise money for the charity Sam was running for ‘Arms Around the Child’. It was such a hit, and at such an important milestone, they’ve decided to do it all over again for one night only!

This time they’re raising money for another worthy cause. Adam Collins (Spurgeon’s 2008), a classmate of Sam, has unfortunately been diagnosed with an incurable form of brain cancer. This diagnosis has dramatically impacted his life and well-being. The money raised at this event will be donated to Adam’s fundraiser to support his ongoing battle.

Sam’s family and friends would love to welcome as many people as possible on the 14 April, even those who may not have personally known Sam, to raise a glass to Sam and help support Adam through this challenging period in his life.

The purchase a ticket or if you can’t make it and wish to make a donation, please click here.

We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you all there!

Rhys Harris (Tulley’s 2008)
