On Tuesday we entered two teams in the Area Heat of the Quiz Club General Knowledge competition hosted in the Junior School Hall. Here were 17 teams, each composed of four children, one from each of Years 3 to 6. Quiz host Simon posed 30 multiple choice questions on the big screen with teams conferring and then voting with their pods.
Our two teams both held first place early on and with five questions to go they were in second and third positions. At the final reckoning they finished first and fifth. Well done to these children for qualifying to represent the school and then working as teams and holding their nerves
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
