Providing opportunity is one of our core values and the Junior School sports teams have grasped an array of chances to showcase their skills this past week.  Last Friday we welcomed three hundred children on-site for our annual cross-country event, from seven different schools.  Some great performances saw us finish second in the team event.

Monday brought netball and hockey over at JAPS for our U10 and U11 girls and some closely contested matches across both sports.  The U9 boys welcomed Dulwich Hamlet and St Dunstan’s for football action on Tuesday afternoon, with a flurry of goals from our B team being the Alleyn’s highlight.  After school our U11 hockey players displayed a fast paced attacking style to overcome Dulwich Hamlet.  Wednesday brought swimming pool action and some thrilling races at the termly Foundation gala.  The U10 footballers and netballers took central stage on Thursday afternoon as we hosted tournaments.  The netballers took centre stage sweeping all before them to run out as competition winners.  The week was rounded off with more U11 hockey success as we managed to beat Royal Russell in a hard fought contest.

A well deserved weekend rest required before we enter the final turbo charged week of the half-term!
