The open mic took place at lunchtime and anyone who felt inspired was welcome to turn up and take the stage.
The event proved a real tonic, and the audience in the intimate atmosphere of the Drama Studio was treated to, among others, brilliant performances of Carol Ann Duffy, Kae Tempest, Dylan Thomas, Ovid and Shakespeare.
Special thanks, for their inspirational performances, to Tom (13BnSp), Fleur (13BnTu) Max (13RoSp), Lucy (12BrTn), Lily (13BrDu) and Ivo (12DuTn).
There was also a terrific performance form our very own and aptly named Mr English, who performed his own material about class and code switching and belonging.
