Performances showcased our talents across classical, jazz, pop and more, with some highlights including a Mentalism demonstration by Joshua in Year 10, amazing street dance from Alex in Year 12, tap dancing and musical theatre by Lucy in Year 13, double bass and violin solos from Theo and Izzy in Year 12 and a brilliant rendition of Lady Gaga’s Speechless, by Ellie in Year 13.
Another moment of note was a surprise performance by Brown’s alumnus Harry Housesgo, who gave a one-man performance of Don’t Stop Me Now.
The money raised by the raffle, silent auction and bar will go towards Blood Cancer UK, the charity Brown’s has been supporting since 2019.
Izzy in Year 13 said, "It was nerve-wracking going up on stage as part of the House Choir to sing Gold by Spandau Ballet, but it was so much fun, and great to know that all the proceeds were going to such a good cause."
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
