The Lower School atrium was packed on Thursday 29 September as Year 7 pupils welcomed their grandparents and family friends for a special tea and tour.
More than 100 guests were warmly welcomed by Head, Mrs Jane Lunnon and Head of Lower School, Mrs Helen Lawrence to the brand new event, designed to help ensure our wider family members feel included in the Alleyn’s community.
Grandparents and friends were treated to a scrumptious tea before the Year 7s took them for a tour of the School.
Mrs Lawrence said: “Today’s event has been so special. It’s been a wonderful opportunity for the new Year 7s to show off their school and it’s been lovely to hear their families sharing stories of their own school days.”
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
