It was wonderful to feature student compositions, including Tabby’s Für Emily, played sublimely by Emily in Year 12. It was also lovely to hear one final time from our departing Year 13 musicians, Alex and Clemmie, who, alongside others, have been such flagbearers for music throughout their time at Alleyn's. Among all of the wonderful performances, Hector in Year 12 gave a consummate performance of Ukranian composer, Kapustin's exuberant Eight Concert Etudes: No.1 Prelude.
This was the final Pupils' Recital lead by our outgoing Head of Instrumental Studies, Paul Smith, and the standing ovation he received is a well-deserved testament to the amazing work he has done over 27 years to support our advanced instrumentalists at Alleyn's.

Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
