Both Year 4 and Year 6 enjoyed a visit from the Problem Solving Company. Year 4 put their skills of cooperation and resilience to the test with a series of team-building exercises. Giant mazes, lethal trebuchets and piranha-infested rivers were just some of the challenges that they faced as they worked in groups to find solutions.

In addition to this, the children also tried their hands at caving. After strapping on their head-torches, they squeezed their way through the pitch-black tunnels, stopping occasionally to wave at the cameras along the way, before tumbling out into the daylight once again.

Year 6 also had a truly fabulous day with the Problem Solving Company. The sun shone and the children raved about the various activities all through the sessions. They had to work together to build a raft and crack the key code, and they sharpened their putting skills on the crazy golf course. Although, arguably the favourite activity was the laser tag, which was played out on the sunny expanse of the top field. It was a really super day!
