Quiz Club Maths Quiz

This week two teams from Year 6 competed in the finals of the Quiz Club Maths Quiz having ranked amongst the highest in the heats. The eight children demonstrated excellent collaboration and teamwork as well as superb mathematical thinking to answer 30 multiple choice questions of varying degrees of difficulty. It was a tough fought competition with 28 schools across the country in the running. Both teams ended the first round around the halfway mark before a slow but steady climb upwards. Team 2 pipped Team 1 by a mere 25 points, scoring 1400 points and coming joint 6^th. Team 1 scored 1275 points and came a very satisfying 7^th place.  A big congratulations to you all.
