The Always Alleyn's Corona Orchestra - our ever-enthusiastic, versatile, and virtual instrumental ensemble - has presented the fruits of their labours from this term's lockdown: a brilliant arrangement of Jacob Gade's famous tango, Jealousy.

Around 50 pupils from Years 7 to 13 contributed to the final piece, each recording one of the 33 parts, including on oboe, viola and harp, at home, before they were meticulously stitched together by Alleyn’s Music Teacher, Ned Bennett, to create the final performance.

Director of Music, Chris Dearmer said: “This terrific production showcases the resilience of Alleyn’s musicians during lockdown. Nothing has stopped them from adapting to new ways of working and learning. Well done to all involved.”
