On Wednesday 13 September the Year 11 classes that are studying 'Macbeth' as part of their GCSE set texts had the opportunity to go see a production of it at the Globe.

Ms Durno, Acting Head of English said "Going to the Globe is a really useful way of bringing the play to life for them. It is also amazing to see it in conditions similar to the original productions for their contextual understanding. It was a fast-paced, modern production and the students enjoyed it- especially moments of unexpected audience participation. For example, there was a particularly memorable moment when Lady M washed her hands in a sleepwalking scene using water from one of the audience member's water bottles!"
