Activities Week: Year 7 - 10 & Year 12 London Museums

Activities Week: (Monday 26, June 2023 - Thursday 29 June 2023)

Over 800 enthusiastic pupils took part in Activities Week 2023. Accompanied by dedicated staff members, they embarked on sporting, travel and cultural adventures, creating lasting memories and a wealth of joyful experiences.

On Monday 26 June a group of pupils from Years 7 – 10 and Year 12 opted to enjoy the cultural delights of London. They had the opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of our fantastic home city.

At the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) the pupils were captivated by the museum's extensive collection, which spans centuries of art, design, and creativity. From ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces, the V&A provided a treasure trove of inspiration and cultural enrichment for our young learners.

At Tate Modern, our pupils explored the thought-provoking photography and painting themed "Capturing the Moment" exhibition. Sharing their interpretations and reflections on the artworks they encountered, the exhibition sparked curiosity, encouraged critical thinking, and fostered a deeper appreciation for the work on display.
