Music has definitely been in focus this week. The children were treated to the sound of the Senior School’s Clarinet Ensemble in assembly and then this was followed up by Fred playing jazz on his trombone. The occasion was particularly poignant as 14 years ago he was sat amongst the Reception children and Thursday was his final day of school!
On Thursday, Alleyn’s hosted the first Foundation (Junior) Schools Choral Concert with JAGS and Dulwich College Junior choirs joining our Chamber Choir to rehearse together ahead of a fabulous concert in the evening. There was a wonderful spirit of collective pride, fun and shared pleasure in singing. I enjoyed hearing rehearsals of the Queen medley seeping through to my office through the day! Thank you Mr Kent for leading on this venture.

Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
