The Alleyn’s community came together for the fabulously festive Holly Fair on Saturday 3 December to get us in the festive spirit and raise vital funds for our local charities.

Run by the Alleyn's Parents' Association, this year’s Holly Fair was packed with festive joy to ready the whole community for Christmas - from fabulous independent Christmas shopping stalls including second-hand clothing to wreath making workshops and an array of festive foods.

There were fun activities for children to enjoy including ice skating in the quad, a silent disco and Christmas games and activities in the Junior School – where they even enjoyed a visit from Father Christmas in a festive Santa’s grotto.

Visitors were treated to joyful live carols from the Alleyn’s Community Choir, followed by musical performances from pupils who took part in Battle of the Bands.

The Holly Fair also helped to raise funds for our local and international charities, which this year included The South London Refugee Association, The Maudsley Charity, The Norwood and Brixton FoodbankMusic as Therapy International, and the Alleyn’s Founder Bursary Fund.

For the third consecutive year, the profits of the raffle supported The Albrighton Community Fridge. The money raised will be put towards the meat which goes into the festive meal boxes the charity gives out to their clients at Christmas.

Thank you to the Alleyn’s Parents’ Association for organising such a fantastic fair and to everyone who came along to enjoy the day.
