This week we held the annual Year 7 MasterChef competition based on the theme of Italian cuisine. Each Tutor Group fielded a team of 4 pupils who cooked a delicious two-course meal.

1st place for the main course went to 7C with their spinach and ricotta cannelloni. 2nd place for main course went to 7F for their chicken Milanese with roast potatoes and bruschetta.

In the desserts category, 1st place went to 7C for their zeppole filled with cream and strawberries, and 2nd place to 7F for their tiramisu.

The overall winner of this year’s competition was 7C. Our judges, Miss Crema and Mr Wilson (pictured), said "all the pupils’ cooking was authentically Italian and of a very high standard". Well done and congratulations to everyone who participated but especially to Amelie, Annabelle, Georgina and Jahnel for a well deserved victory.
