Fieldwork forms an integral part of A level Geography, giving students the chance to consolidate their learning from the classroom as well as collect their own data to go with their research.

This week A level Geographers had a great three days in the sun at some very contrasting locations, from Herne Bay, to Lingfield, to Brixton, learning about different methods of data collection.

Kirsten in Year 12, spoke about the benefits of the trips:

“It was the perfect opportunity to explore new places while also developing our geographical knowledge and ability to analyse data in preparation for the non-examined assessment part of the A level.”
