Pupils who are studying History at Alleyn’s spent a fabulous day in the sunshine surrounded by all things History. From taking part in a WW1 trench experience to sampling food from different centuries, everyone had a new experience and returned home all the more enthused in the subject!
As one Year 12 said:
“This was probably the best school trip I’ve ever done!”
The aim of the annual festival, which takes place in Broadchalke, Near Salisbury, is to excite, enthral and entertain about the past. All proceeds from the festival go to the Chalke Valley History Trust, which promotes the understanding of history to all ages, but especially children.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
