Following the boys’ efforts in the National Rugby Schools Fives Tournament back in March, on Sunday 24 April, Alleyn’s girls’ teams took part in The National School Girls’ Fives Tournament which was back after Covid-19 delays. Joined by players from 6 other schools we were proud to come back with National Champions; Taylor-Rose won National Champion (U13) along with Janice and Diva who took home the trophy for National Doubles Winners (U14)!

It was fantastic to celebrate the successes of the team who took part in games across 4 age groups, U13, U14, U16 and U18, and finished with many fine performances, two trophies and a host of medals – see full results list below. Just look at the silverware above! It was a fantastic way to end the season and start the new term with a bang.

As Rob Ody, Head of Boys' Physical Education and Games (and Fives Master) said, “It was a great day and the team, as always, was a pleasure to take.”

Our thanks go to Oundle School for hosting this high-octane event.
