On Thursday 3 March, it was World Book Day and Alleyn's Junior celebrated it with a multitude of events! The book bonnets were absolutely fantastic, and certainly brightened up the assembly led by Mr Patel, Mrs Reid and the library monitors. Winners from each class will be announced soon, with prizes following swiftly. We were lucky enough to welcome Lisa Rajan, author of the Tara and Dani Binns series, to school, where she led workshops with Reception to Year 5 throughout the day, with Year 3 enjoying theirs on Friday. She brought story-telling to life through character role play and the children thoroughly enjoyed their time with her.
