Fantastic Four Triumph at Fives

Even before the start of Lent term, we had much to celebrate. On the weekend of 8 and 9 January 2022, Alleyn’s Fives team took part in the West of England Fives Championships at Sherborne School.

There were four competitions, singles and doubles in the senior and U16 age groups. At U16, Theo won the singles and then partnered with Laurie to finish as doubles champions. At senior level, Gwydion finished as singles champion and with Stuart, finished as doubles runners-up. Congratulations to all four.

This is the most success we have ever had in these championships and the students are still buzzing. As always, they were immaculately behaved and a great credit to the school.
