Congratulations to Physics Star Zachie

Congratulations to Year 12 student Zachie on writing an impressive essay on Dark Matter and Dark Energy which has led to him being selected to take part in a special research project this summer with the nationally renowned European Organization for Nuclear Research, CERN.

Based in Switzerland, CERN is one of the world's largest and most respected centres for scientific research and to be chosen to take part in this project is a fantastic recognition of Zachie’s hard work.

Zachie’s success also led him to be invited to meet Head, Mrs Jane Lunnon, to sign the Head’s Book for Outstanding Achievement and discuss his work and future aspirations in the world of Physics with her. The Head’s Book recognises the outstanding achievements of those pupils who go above and beyond in their pursuits, across all aspects of School life.
