The Year 6 children from Elmwood Primary School joined our Year 6 children for a special drama workshop. The workshop was based on the book Weslandia by Paul Fleischman. Such were the numbers of children involved, the workshops took place in three locations around the school campus. They were led by Becky, Ellie and George-all members of the Rocket Boots Theatre Company.
The morning was a great success in so many ways. It was lovely to see the children work so cooperatively together and make instant friends. The resulting pieces of drama were imaginative, creative and uninhibited. Thank you to all the staff involved for giving the children this opportunity.
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
