Last Thursday 11 Alleyn’s pupils travelled to Bilbao to take part in MUN Bilbao conference, which this year had the general theme of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. It was a succession of long days and nights for our pupils, debating and resolving big global issues, and they all acquitted themselves extremely well.
Alleyn’s won Best Delegation (for Spain), with Eton College coming second and Alleyn’s (this time for the United Kingdom) coming third!
Alleyn’s successes didn't stop there, and we won a swathe of other prizes, including:
Best delegates in:
- Economic and social committee (Spain)
- Environment (Spain and UK)
- Sustainable development goals (Spain and UK)
- World Health Committee (Spain)
- Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (UK)
- Historical committee (UK and Spain)
Outstanding diplomat in:
- Economic and social committee (Spain)
- Security Council (UK)

Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
