Remembrance Day at Alleyn’s is a cherished tradition that resonates deeply with the community, bringing together pupils, staff, and families in a solemn tribute to those who have given their lives in service of their country.

Each year over Remembrance brings together over 500 cadets and CFAVs from Alleyn's, Dulwich College, and JAGS in a uniformed parade through the heart of Dulwich. The procession culminates in a wreath-laying ceremony and moments. This followed by the annual Edward Alleyn Club's Remembrance Day service at Christ Chapel of God’s Gift.

This year’s commemoration was enriched by a special Remembrance Day football match between Alleyn's and Rossall School, commemorating 80 years since Alleyn’s School was evacuated to Lancashire and shared Rossall School’s facilities during World War II. A commemoration of our shared history and in honour of the sacrifice of past generations. Read more here
