House Music was back last night, and it truly captured the 'all' in Alleyn's. Our legendary event brought together nearly the entire Middle and Upper School, with around 900 pupils from each House banding together to organise, rehearse, and perform three musical pieces: a House Choir, a House Ensemble, and a House Soloist – all packed into an electrifying programme.

The excitement was palpable as Houses rotated through the MCT to perform, while their peers watched via live AV relays in the Great Hall and the Old Gym. Dutton’s stole the show, winning with their uplifting rendition of Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield, alongside a brilliant ensemble piece and an unforgettable solo performance. Cribb’s secured the runners-up spot with an equally dazzling display, while Spurgeons claimed third place with a spirited performance.

The stage burst into life with giant dinosaur costumes, brides in veils, cowboy hats, pink wigs, and even Superman himself making an appearance! Each House had their time to showcase House talent, and the audience responded with enthusiastic cheers, laughter, clapping, and whistling, making for a night of pure joy and school spirit.
