A group of Year 12 (next year's senior leaders) went camping together in Sussex for their leadership development trip last week. It was easy to see the wonderful time they had around the campfire, brought together by two guitars, good company and shared food.
They were hosted by the fantastic Woodfire Camping, Petworth, who warmly welcomed the Alleyn’s visitors for their eco-camping experience.
Activities of the trip were wholesome, and included baking homemade bread, foraging for herbs and cooking over an open fire. The trip was a chance to bond and relax, while providing an enriching chance for the incoming School Captains and Prefects team to hone their leadership skills. It provided space for the groups team building and strategizing and we know there will be some engaging and well-targeted leadership in evidence from them all in the months ahead.
Mrs. Lunnon was able to join the group for some time, soaking up the fresh air and quality time, and we know the group have come back feeling recharged after a busy end to the school year.

Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
