Girls' Fives Dig In at Regional Championship

The South-East Regional Girls’ Fives Championships took place at Christ’s Hospital with Alleyn’s players putting in a good shift to secure their wins.  

There were two age groups, U14 and U18 with singles and doubles in both.  

Anna in Year 8 scooped up an impressive win in the U14 singles, beating Annabel B (Year 9) in the final.  

The U14 doubles were won by Anna and Kirsten (Year 9), beating Annabelle and Issy (Year 9) in the final. 

At U18 level Taylor Rose (Year 10) won the singles, beating Diva (Year 11) in the final. The doubles were won by Diva and Annabel M (Year 11), the runners-up were Taylor and a player from Eastbourne College (as both schools had an odd number).  

A fine effort, and, as always, a pleasure to take.
