Alleyn's U15 and U18 girls took part in the Independent Schools' Football Association (ISFA) Seven-a-Side Tournament, hosted at Charterhouse School this weekend.

The U15 girls put in some impressive performances to make it to the final, conceding only a small handful of goals on the way. They competed against ACS Cobham in the final, and were evenly matched for long periods before, in the words of ISFA, "a flurry of second-half goals saw them claim the title in convincing style."

The players put their win down to team-bonding, individual effort and lots of training with their coach, Mr Malloy.

Alleyn's U18 girls were also in action at the tournament, making it to the quarter-finals before being narrowly edged out by Ardingly.

Headmaster Dr Savage said: "Congratulations to all of our players and sports staff on this terrific achievement, and for all the hard work and determination that has gone into securing this result. I am very proud of our commitment to women's football."
