Well done to the over 500 pupils, staff and friends of Alleyn's, Dulwich College and JAGS who came together last night on the stage of Royal Festival Hall for a commemorative performance of Howell's Elegy followed by Britten's War Requiem.

The Joint Foundation Schools' Choir and Orchestra provided one of the largest such ensembles that has been seen on the RFH stage.

Performers were joined by guest professionals Jane Irwin (soprano), Robin Tritschler (tenor) and Philip Tebb (baritone), on what was a wonderful night of community and commemoration.

Our thanks go to all who have made this occasion possible, including our very own Director of Music Chris Dearmer, alongside Richard Mayo and Peter Gritton, Directors of Music at Dulwich College and JAGS respectively.
