Activities Week: Year 10 to Valencia

Activities Week: (Monday 26, June 2023 - Thursday 29 June 2023)

On Monday 26^th June, a group of enthusiastic Year 10 pupils travelled to Valencia, Spain. The trip was a vibrant blend of language immersion, cultural exploration, and memory making.

The pupils were encouraged to practice their language skills and explore with the local culture and took daily Spanish lessons at Taronja language school.

Cultural activities were an integral part of the trip, providing the pupils with a unique window into the rich heritage of Valencia, its stunning architecture and its surrounding areas. Our pupils explored Turia Park, a lush tranquil urban park in the heart of the city. A visit to the Oceanográfico Aquarium allowed the pupils to dive into the wonders of the marine world. They explored the City of Arts and Sciences, a cultural and architectural complex whose offering includes an Opera House, a Science Museum and an IMAX cinema. A bike ride to El Saler beach and a wonderful Paella Party added to the varied programme.
