Year 12 student and water polo player Flick was selected to attend a training camp in Szentes, Hungary with the 2006 English Schools girls water polo team in half term.
Over the course of 6 days Flick played 8 matches; a combination of competitive fixtures and training matches (of which most were against all boys teams). Flick was one of only two goalkeepers selected to attend the training camp in a squad of 15 players.
Flick's highlights include, "getting to use the thermal pool after training and matches, visiting Budapest and the houses of parliament, and improving the teams scores against Szentes (who they played a few times) from 18-9 to 17-11."
Junior School Open Day
The next Alleyn's Junior School Open Event is from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024. There will be a Head's Talk at 1.40pm after which you will be offered a tour of the school with a pupil. There is no need to book a place at this Open Event - everyone is welcome.
