Pizza is Us!

Year 2 had a great time with Suzi and Kyle from the school kitchens, making their own pizzas as part of their ‘Yum Yum!’ topic. First, they made sure they looked the part in aprons and chef hats. They then rolled out their dough, spooned on the fresh tomato sauce and then tore up mozzarella and basil to go on the top. Back in the classrooms they wrote up the instructions to make a pizza, using verbs and time connectives.

It didn’t seem like many pizzas lasted long once they left the classroom! Delizioso!
