The Upper school organised a Higher Education Day so that students could spend time focussing on their next step after A levels.

In the morning students researched different pathways and university courses on ‘Unifrog’, set up their UCAS accounts, and wrote their personal statements, following a specific how-to workshop on Monday.

At lunchtime Ms Visram spoke on how to Increase your appeal to universities and employers.

In the afternoon there was a Q&A session with alumni regarding university and subject choices and a talk on Oxbridge and a Medics workshop, to which ten students form a local school were invited.

The day ended with students sharing tea with alumni in the Marquee.

A great day and now the students have their thinking and their administration for the process well underway - it’s good to be prepared!
