Head of Psychology Stephen Keeler provided audience members at the MCT with a fascinating foray into the psychology of evil at our most recent All@Alleyn's event earlier this week. Mr Keeler explored whether evil acts are only carried out by evil people, or whether anyone is capable of performing them under the right (or wrong!) circumstances.

The talk took in the case and behaviour of American serial killer Ted Bundy, who confessed to 30 homicides across seven states after more than a decade of denials.

We are very appreciative to Mr Keeler for providing such a compelling, eye-opening presentation. We were delighted to have received so much interest in this event, and thanks go to all those who supported it.

All@Alleyn's events are free for all to attend (booking is essential) and form part of a programme of activities designed for the 2019 anniversary year, in which we commemorate Edward Alleyn's foundation of his College of God's Gift back in 1619.

You can view the full All@Alleyn's series line-up for the year here. Forthcoming events include a pasta-making workshop in March (currently sold out) followed by a talk on Shakespeare in April.
